The Protestant Women of the Chapel International is a resource network that unites, trains and encourages women in the military chapel community in their spiritual growth.

PWOC is God empowered, Christ centered and Spirit led; exists as an extension of the chapel; encourages women to grow spiritually within the body of Christ through prayer, the study of God's Word, worship and service; is sponsored by the Army Chief of Chaplains and is recognized by the leadership of the Air Force, Navy, Marine and Coast Guard Chaplaincy.




AIMS

To LEAD women to accept Christ as Savior and Lord.
To TEACH women the history, beliefs and programs of the church, all built on a solid foundation of worship and Bible Study.
To DEVELOPin women the skills of prayer, evangelism, stewardship and socail service while accentuating personal, spiritual growth.
To INVOLVE women in the work of the chapel, in keeping with their abilities and interests.
International Motto:  “We are workers together for Christ.”

FUNDING
Financial support for PWOC International  primarily comes from annual chapel designated offerings, and conference registration fees. Funds are used to provide ministry to local installations through Fall Focus Conference, Travel Training teams, and resource materials. Designated offerings are taken for PWOC International during even years and for regions during odd years. Regional offerings will be dispersed to specific regions. all designated offerings should be sent to:

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
ALL women in the chapel community and the general vicinity.
Active duty military of all services and their family members.
Retired military and their family members.
Civilian Personnel.
